What do I do in the event of an accident?

  • Secure your car to minimise the risk of further damage or loss.
  • Where applicable, gather as much information as you can, including:
    • names, addresses, phone numbers and licence numbers of other parties involved in the accident
    • names and contact details of witnesses at the scene
    • registration numbers of all vehicles involved in the accident.
  • Report the accident / incident to the police. If they provide you with an incident number, please keep this safe as it may be required for claim processing purposes.
